As you know, my lidocaine pump was canceled and I am not comfortable committing to the iliacus injection. I have been in a large amount of pain including an emergency room visit and I had a consult with a GI. I feel I am running out of options and my pain is still high, so I am seeking the advice of professionals out of state.
After speaking with a few friends about recent problems, I have decided to get the opinion and possibly aid from the Center for Endo Care in Georgia. They are incredibly nice and respond to questions truthfully and quickly-which I very much appreciate. I am working on getting as many records are I can on my endo procedures and symptoms sent to them ASAP to gain their opinions and find out treatment options. Although I have had limited conversations with them, I believe they will be able to offer me some options that I may not otherwise be able to have where I am now.
Luckily, school is winding down for the semester which gives me more time for Knock Out Endo again and also decreases some of my stress.
Random things that I was told from the emergency room and GI specialist-
- It is possible to have an adhesion across my bowel/colon that leads to discomfort
- A GI will not do any scope procedure without first seeing a surgical report for endo surgeries.
