So...now that the song is stuck in my head :P, the final countdown to surgery begins. By this time next week I will be in recovery in NYU (surgery is expected to about 5 hours).
I'm so nervous but excited to get it over with and come out fighting even stronger than I am now!
Today I spoke with a t-shirt printer for an estimate (please see the tshirt page I created today for designs and prices). The more shirts that get orde and heard back from a lawyer so things are moving-slowly but surely.
I had pizza for lunch which was awesome and got to spend some quality time with my best friend which is always appreciated and relaxing. It takes my mind off the daily stresses I have to endure lately. Then mom bought me ice cream and colored pencils so you can pretty much say my diet was shot to hell today but it was totally worth it!
I also received words of encouragement and love from a few of my mothers coworkers. The thoughts and prayers are always appreciated. It makes me feel like I am getting to people and that they are starting to catch on with my idea of Knock Out Endo.
As the countdown begins I am thankful for all the love and support I have. I say that a lot but I do believe that I am a lucky girl, despite being sick.
