I received one comment about getting more information. In terms of the tshirts, I have a price point but do need to get the funds together to place the order and then get them out as soon as possible to you guys (otherwise you could be waiting up to 3 weeks in the US to get a shirt :-/ ).
I would love to meet up with other endo girls to chat-even if we just created a group chat, I think it would be helpful for all of us. Plus we could trade our thoughts and helpful advice.
I haven't started making moves on the event as it takes a lot of planning and I need to work one step at at a time. So t-shirts first and we'll see how that goes. The reason I haven't been faster with the shirts is because I'm exhausted beyond belief lately with school and medicines and waiting for my lido pump.
I went for a walk today and while I think I used up too much energy , it was nice to get out and think for a while. I worked on a paper with the heating pad on, hoping that today it would work although it didn't help much.
I am focusing on reading at least 1 endo study per night so that I can learn more and write on here about the studies I have been reading. Knowledge is power, and we could all use some power in fighting endo.
According to an NYU and Columbia University study, one of the biggest issues is of course that symptoms overlap with other diseases which cause misdiagnoses or late diagnoses for many women. It is physically and mentally wearing for women. Endometriosis can be minimal or larger with adhesions or fibroids causing a large amount of pain. According to the study, the main goal for practitioners is pain management and maintaining the integrity of the reproductive organs, aid the woman in fertility issues if possible.
