Today was a long day-woke up at 6 and drove a little bit and then errands and walking around wore me out. I didn't get to do much research but what I did made me so thankful that I decided AGAINST Lupron treatments. Studies are now finding that Lupron may not stop the endo cells from producing estrogen, but rather just the rest of the body/brain which throws a woman into menopause (that part I knew already).
In addition to learning about Lupron and its negative effects (which I had also been hearing from other endo patients), I decided I need a new hobby. I'm still not able to work out and train seeing as I can barely make it around the block. I used to cook a lot but can't lift heavy pots and pans or bend to reach where we store them--so I'm attempting embroidery (wish me luck!). I think it should be fun and I love the way it looks so we'll see how it goes.
I went and visited my Sensei tonight and it was nice to see familiar faces in the gym, even though I couldn't work out. The support that I'm feeling is and incredible feeling-from my family, teammates, friends, supporters, and other endowarriors.
Thanks everyone! You really help
